Law Enforcement Tows / Impounds I.E. FHP, LCSO, CCPD
Vehicles or personal items can only be released to the REGISTERED OWNER with the following:
Government Issued photo Identification
Proper vehicle registration and valid tag
Proof of Insurance
A licensed driver to remove the vehicle
In Special cases, the vehicle may be released to someone other than the registered owner with a signed and notarized form which can be found on our forms page under release agreement. any other questions please call (239)656-2833
Vehicle releases are from 8:00am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday
any time after this a gate fee will be added also a one hour notice will need to be given and someone will meet you to release your vehicle or items to you
All fees associated with a law enforcement impound are posted in our office and will be explained upon request this also applies to private property towing
Requirements for Release of Impounded Vehicles
- Release of impounded vehicle to registered owner:
The registered owner must present either the title or registration of the vehicle.
The owner must also present a valid photo state ID or a state driver license. - Release of an impounded vehicle to any individual who is not the registered owner:
Any person not the registered owner of an impounded vehicle must have a valid notarized power of attorney which authorizes the person named to conduct business for the registered owner.
The individual must present either the title or registration of the vehicle.
The individual must present a valid state photo ID or valid state driver license. - Release of an Impounded Vehicle Owned by a Rental Company or an Impounded
Vehicle Being Recovered by an Insurance Carrier:
The rental company or the insurance carrier must prepare a notarized letter of authorization on letterhead, naming the individual picking up the vehicle.
The representative must present either the title or registration to the vehicle. Legible copies of the document are acceptable.
The representative must present a valid photo ID and business identification. - Release of Impounded Vehicles Being Repossessed:
The lien holder must prepare a notarized hold harmless letter on letterhead.
The lien holder must prepare a letter authorizing the wrecker/towing company to pick up the vehicle and provide either the Paper TITLE (notprint out of Elt) or vehicle registration.
The wrecker/towing company driver must present a valid photo ID.

Los vehículos o artículos personales sólo podrán ser entregados al PROPIETARIO REGISTRADO con lo siguiente:
Identificación con fotografía emitida por el gobierno
Registro adecuado del vehículo y etiqueta válida.
Prueba de seguro
Un conductor con licencia para retirar el vehículo.
En casos especiales, el vehículo puede entregarse a alguien que no sea el propietario registrado con un formulario firmado y notariado que se puede encontrar en nuestra página de formularios bajo acuerdo de liberación. cualquier otra pregunta por favor llame al (239)656-2833
La liberación de vehículos es de 8:00 am a 5:00 pm de lunes a viernes.
en cualquier momento después de esto, se agregará una tarifa de entrada y también será necesario avisar con una hora de anticipación y alguien se reunirá con usted para entregarle su vehículo o artículos.
Todas las tarifas asociadas con un embargo policial se publican en nuestra oficina y se explicarán a pedido. Esto también se aplica al remolque de propiedad privada.
Requisitos para la liberación de vehículos incautados
Entrega del vehículo incautado al propietario registrado:
El propietario registrado debe presentar el título o la matrícula del vehículo.
El propietario también debe presentar una identificación estatal con fotografía válida o una licencia de conducir estatal.
Liberación de un vehículo incautado a cualquier individuo que no sea el propietario registrado:
Cualquier persona que no sea el propietario registrado de un vehículo incautado debe tener un poder notarial válido que autorice a la persona nombrada a realizar negocios para el propietario registrado.
El individuo deberá presentar ya sea el título o matrícula del vehículo.
La persona debe presentar una identificación estatal con fotografía válida o una licencia de conducir estatal válida.
Liberación de un vehículo incautado propiedad de una empresa de alquiler o de un vehículo incautado
Vehículo siendo recuperado por una compañía de seguros:
La empresa de alquiler o la compañía de seguros deben preparar una carta de autorización notariada con membrete, nombrando a la persona que recogerá el vehículo.
El representante deberá presentar ya sea el título o matrícula del vehículo. Se aceptan copias legibles del documento.
El representante debe presentar una identificación con fotografía válida y una identificación comercial.
Liberación de vehículos incautados que están siendo embargados:
El titular del gravamen debe preparar una carta de exención de responsabilidad notariada en papel con membrete.
El titular del gravamen debe preparar una carta autorizando a la empresa de auxilio/remolque a recoger el vehículo y proporcionar el TÍTULO en papel (no impreso de Elt) o el registro del vehículo.
El conductor de la empresa de auxilio/remolque debe presentar una identificación con fotografía válida.
